Spring Cleaning Day

Today was the day to clean up the backyard. It was at least 60 degrees, the sun was shining, the mud was dried up. It was the perfect day to debut my nearly-translucent legs to the unsuspecting world. I even took them to Home Depot. Here is our day in pictures...

This is me learning to use a Man Tool called a Sawzall. It can cut through tree branches and other things. Today, I used it to cut last year's Christmas tree, which was still sitting in our backyard. We're not white-trash at all.

This is the End Result of my first adventure with Man Tools.

This is what Lucille O'Neil accomplished on Yard Clean Up Day (she wasn't interested in Man Tools).

Sampson O'Neil was really only interested in showing off his new collar, a very studly black one, which I may bedazzle for him at a later date.

Finally, while Gordon worked very hard all day, this was the highlight of Yard Clean-Up Day....(this is also the part that made me mad because he was messing up the neat piles of dirt that I had painstakingly raked up. This was also the part where he told me I was acting like a boring, old mother who didn't like to have any fun. Don't tell him, but I later decided that he was probably right.)
